We are pleased to share the news that long standing client Broadland Housing Association have won the National Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) 2021 Award for Planning Excellence.

Broadland had previously seen success at the regional RTPI awards in November last year, and have now been recognised at the National Awards.

They receive this award in recognition of the ingenuity of their affordable housing strategy in North Norfolk, which identified an opportunity from changes to national policy. Five mixed tenure schemes – in Binham, Trunch, Erpingham, Edgefield and Great Ryburgh – are all linked by one Section 106 Agreement. The sale of market homes has subsidised the delivery of 61 affordable homes.

We were pleased to work with Broadland in delivery of 32 new homes across two of these sites – Binham and Great Ryburgh.

Huge congratulations to Broadland for winning the Royal Town Planning Institute 2021 Award for Planning Excellence. Our experience of Broadband tells us they always look at the bigger picture and work with partners to establish long term relationships and we are pleased that this approach has been recognised at the National RTPI Awards with well-deserved recognition of their can-do attitude.
