At Smith of Honingham, our story is shaped by over a century of craftsmanship, trust, and delivering across Norfolk.
Now, we move forward.
Take a look at our new film intro — a reflection of who we are today and where we’re heading.
Modern.
Strong.
Built for what’s next.
Our focus remains the same:

From Groundworks to Completion.
Things have progressed rapidly — and now, our project at Broadland Business Park stands
complete.
What was once a live construction site is now a finished development, delivered through the
hard work, precision, and collaboration of everyone involved.
This project has been documented every step of the way — from early works through to the
final result — with full photography, drone, and film capturing the journey.
Now, we’re proud to showcase the finished build.
A huge thank you to our team, partners, and everyone who played a part in bringing this
project to life. The end result reflects the quality and commitment that defines Smith of
Honingham.
We don’t just build — we deliver from start to finish.

Norfolk is growing — and we’re proud to be building it.
Across the county, the team at Smith of Honingham are delivering a wide range of projects
that reflect the strength and future of Norfolk. From new housing developments creating
much-needed homes, to commercial projects supporting local businesses and jobs, every
build plays its part in shaping our communities.
These projects represent the combined effort of our dedicated team, trusted partners, and the
vision of our clients. With over 100 years of heritage in Norfolk construction, we continue
to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern construction methods to deliver spaces that
people will live in, work in, and benefit from for generations.
Whether it’s homes for families or commercial developments supporting the local
economy, we are proud to see these projects taking shape across the county.
At Smith of Honingham, we’re not just building structures — we’re helping build
Norfolk’s future.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting an informative tour of Elaine Herbert House at The Great Hospital, Norwich.
The visit was led by Trevor Terrington from Smith of Honingham alongside Jonathan Smith, Director, and Shaun Long from Rossi Long Consulting representing the Norwich Forum for the Construction Industry.
It was a good opportunity to bring industry colleagues together and share progress on site.
The new building has been carefully designed to sit comfortably alongside the existing structures, some of which date back to 1249. Working within such an historic setting requires real attention to detail and respect for the surroundings.
The ground-floor flint elevations and the transition into the first-floor brickwork are particularly impressive. It’s not something you see every day, and the finish really reflects the quality of workmanship involved.
At Smith of Honingham, we’re proud to be part of projects that combine traditional materials with modern construction standards. Working closely with Cowper Griffith Architects LLP and Rossi Long Consulting, it’s been a collaborative effort throughout.
We look forward to sharing more with you soon.
